Slides lead to places they shouldn’t, TV screens transport you between memories, and doors loop back to the same room you started from.
Each location tells a part of your story. As you explore, the environment becomes puzzling and less stable. In The Occultist, paranormal investigator Alan Rebels travels to the mysterious island of Godstone to determine the cause of the sudden disappearance of his father. However, Alan does not travel alone. He carries with him his mystical pendulum, an object of unknown origin that accompanied him on all his past paranormal investigations. As he explores the foggy streets and maddening buildings, apparently being the only things that remain on the mysterious island of Godstone, it becomes clear: This will be a case unlike any other.

Godstone was inhabited until 1950 by an infamous, macabre cult that performed disturbing experiments and cruel rituals. No one has ever set foot on the island since – until today. Using his paranormal talents, Alan must interact with the ominous souls that seem to remain in the foreboding streets and buildings left on Godstone; or avoid them at all cost, should they be wrathful.

Being a paranormal investigator, none of this is new to Alan Rebels. The mysterious Godstone however and his search for answers to his father’s disappearance put Alan’s skills to the test. Then do the following steps manually:

  • Make sure you have virtualization tech enabled in your BIOS: VT-x for Intel or AMD-V (SVM) for AMD
  • Run “VBS.cmd” in the game folder AS ADMINISTRATOR! – you might want to download fresh version here: https://fitgirl-repacks.site/hypervisor-guide/
  • Press 1 to make necessary changes to the system
  • Reboot and in the loading menu press F7 to disable DSE
  • Run “hypervisor-launcher.exe” in the game root
  • Play
  • Run “VBS.cmd” again and press 3 to revert made changes
  • Reboot in the normal, secure mode

Game Description
Corner Shop: Nightshift is a first-person narrative horror sim set in a failing convenience store. You play as Adam Callahan, trying to put your life back together.

A night shift and a broken life. Blackouts, alarms, and unsettling customers pull you into a puzzle you can’t escape. Find the truth, manage your stress, and don’t let paranoia win. Take your meds. Keep going.

Stock shelves, clean up, take deliveries, scan items, and serve customers with snacks, sandwiches, and kebabs. Upgrade the store with cameras, alarms, and stronger locks. Manage your time, your money, and your sanity. Meds don’t pay for themselves.

You play as Adam Callahan. His wife is gone, his daughter was taken, and his life is falling apart. He works the night shift to prove he can start over, but the store keeps dragging his past back to the surface, out of order and out of his control. Your choices shape what you uncover and which ending you reach.

Modes: Story Mode: ~15 hours at an average pace, with 4 endings based on player choices. Endless Mode: Infinite gameplay focused on growing and managing the store, with ongoing horror elements. Streamer Mode: Twitch integration where viewers can trigger actions on the map, including customers and horror events.

Why Monkey Repack?

This game is using pretty slow Oodle compression library method called Kraken. I had this game repacked properly, it was smaller by 12.6 GB, but the installation time was awful: more than 1.5 hours on 32-threads CPU and around 6 hours on 8-threads CPU. Absolutely not worth the savings. Hence I did a Monkey Repack with basic compression only. And that any monkey can do.
